I have to give credit to my friend Amber for giving me inspiration for today's title. Why am I mentioning Ephesus? Well today, the band had the pleasure of going to ancient Ephesus, the most preserved ruin from the Roman Empire. With that in mind, there are going to be many pictures to show off the glory that is Ephesus. I thought Pergamum was impressive, but I was very excited to go to Ephesus-I love Greek mythology. It was amazing to see how much of a city that held 200,00 was preserved. After our 2 hour stay in Ephesus, we traveled for a few hours and made it to Bodrum! Our hotel is cute and adorable; the pool is gorgeous; and they have hammocks-sounds like heaven! After some down time, we played our final concerts at the Marina Vista Yacht club across the street from our hotel. Both the Concert and Jazz Bands performed lovely tonight and in our other performances. This concert was different because the Jazz Band did not play until 10pm, when the yacht club turned into a nightclub for guests. The club was busy tonight listening to the Jazz Band. Tomorrow is our free day in Bodrum, so many people will be sleeping in, go enjoy the pool and the beach, do some sightseeing, etc.
